Dusty and his wife Gloria Johnson love children, education, and animals and devote many hours to helping organizations that help them.

Below is a list of the organizations that Dusty & Gloria support and the reason why. You can click on the logo for any of the organizations to go to their website and find out more about the organization, what they do for children, and in some cases to make a donation to the organization.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation works tirelessly to help children with both Type I and Type II diabetes. Dusty & Gloria work with them and urge you to make a donation to help in the search for a cure for child onset diabetes.

If it had not been for the doctors and nurses at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women in Orlando, Florida, Dusty and Gloria would have lost their grandchild on a hot night in July of 2000. A trauma team from Arnold Palmer transported 27 month old Cheyenne from Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach to Orlando at speeds approaching 90 mph in the middle of the night when the child was in a diabetic coma.

Dusty & Gloria provide entertainment and dance instruction for several Children's Miracle Network events in the Orlando area and always seem to kick in their spare change every time they visit the local Wal-Mart Supercenter, which is several times a week!

Of course Dusty & Gloria also support Shand's Healthcare Hospital in Gainesville, Florida where Dusty underwent not one, but two open-heart surgeries in 3 1/2 years. Shand's Healthcare endrocronologists also care for their grandchild's Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes.
